New assignments!!

My biggest obstacle with my photography has been my own self doubt.  

Wondering if I needed one more class, another workshop or just more time behind the lens.  But sometimes it takes others seeing something in you before you can see it yourself.  It was this woman, Danielle De Silva, (founder of Photographers Without Borders) who gave me the much needed encouragement and words that where I was at  right now…... was good enough.  And sometimes that’s all you need to hear to make that leap.   I am super excited to share that I was recently assigned two international photography assignments with Photographers Without Borders for 2019….one in Malawi in April and another in Cambodia in November.  Both of these are solo trips….just me….working alongside two incredible non-profit organizations, helping them to share their story.  Still pinching myself with this news….but so incredibly grateful for these opportunities!
